javascript - Firefox DOMContentLoaded and load events are very slow on large content in textarea -
I am trying to load a large (multiple megs) document in textarea.
The network load time in the rare firebug (which is actually minimal when I reload it because it is 304), telling me that it is about firing for DOMContentLoaded and load events Taking around 20 seconds to move around.
If I change the teditarera into a diva, then it drops up to 5 seconds, even if it is given full content!
There are no JavaScript libraries loaded - I first tried to unload them. I have loaded many CSS files.
Any ideas about this which makes it so slow or better than that, how to move things? Material loads one part at a time? Unlike ugly but at least it allows the user to view a locked browser and potentially instead of taking "this script is too long".
This is Firefox 3.6.15 on Ubuntu. & lt; Br> one per line You should try Firefox 4, which readnode directly (or instead of a clone this); I suspect it will be very fast on your page. As for users, it is growing fast ... Your only real option with the old Firefox versions is not the text for the lesson, unfortunately & lt; Div & gt; There is a lot more work than a single text node of to present the child.
