Version Control with PHP -

Currently I am creating a simple page for hosting the project, and now I have got a question. Is there any implementation of GIT or HG (Mercurial) in PHP? - Yes, I know about the command system () , but I'm working on hosting with some permissions and therefore I need some random PHP.

I have already searched on the web, but I did not find anything = (

I hope that something like that already exists.
